Muktinath Tour Package (Kathmandu)
Muktinath group package is a spiritual tour package to the place of peace and power, popular among both Hindus & Buddhist religion. Which is located at an altitude of 3710 M in Muktinath valley, Mustang Nepal. Hindus believe that this place is ‘Mukti Kshetra’,as a symbol of liberation. And Buddhist called it ‘Chumig Gyatsa’ which refers hundred waters.
Muktinath temple is the holy place, for Hindus and Buddhists. Muktinath is one of the holy places among four ‘Dhams’ of Hindu holy places being located in the mountain region. The most suitable time to visit Muktinath is from March to June, as the weather conditions would not be safe enough to travel in other months. The journey passes through many archaeological sites and temples. The 108 water taps and nonstop glowing fire are another attraction of this temple. Cultural trails in the region take into the homes of Gurungs in the lowlands, the hospitality of Thakalis around Jomsom, Manangis in the east and Tibetans in the arid north. The typical culture of people living in mountainous regions can be observed and enjoy fully in Mustang. Thakali food is another attraction of this culture and Mustang itself.
Jomsom is the gateway to enter there. In this cultural tour package you will not only perform Darshan at the holy temple, but also have opportunity to visit Manakamana Temple. Kathmandu and Pokhara sightseeing are the another attractions of this Muktinath tour package.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu
We will pick up you from the Kathmandu Airport, transfer you to the hotel, you have free time for your self explore the city or to take rest.
Day 02: Half day Kathmandu city sightseeing and Drive to Pokhara
You will visit for half day Kathmandu city sightseeing, which includes two world heritage sites of Nepal, Pashupatinath temple and Swayambhunath stupa. After the sightseeing you will drive towards Pokhara, it takes approx. 6-7 hours to reach there. After reaching there you will check in at the hotel and take rest for next day sightseeing.
Day 03: Fly to Jomsom, Drive to Muktinath from Jomsom & Return back
Early morning you are flying towards Jomsom from Pokhara, our representative will pick up you at Jomsom airport, takes you to the hotel. After little rest over there you are heading towards Muktinath (1 hour drive from Jomsom) for Darshan and Puja. After all Puja, Darshan and Holy bath complete you will return Jomsom to stay the night.
Day 04: Fly back to Pokhara, Pokhara Sightseeing
Early morning you will fly back to Pokhara, transfer to Pokhara hotel. Now you are going for half day Pokhara city sightseeing, which covers Davis Falls, Seti George, Bindabasini Temple, Mahendra Cave, Bate Cave and some other attraction of the city. You can also enjoy the boating at Fewa Lake. Return back to the hotel, O/N stay in Pokhara.
Day 05: Drive back to Kathmandu, visit Manakamana temple en-route
Have your breakfast at the hotel, now you are returning to Kathmandu, en-route you can visit the Manakamana temple, free leisure evening at Kathmandu, O/N stay in Kathmandu.
Day 06: Departure
You are free till your departure time, we will drop you at the Kathmandu airport 3 hours before your flight.
